About
I'm a CTO who works with private equity sponsors and leadership teams in financial services and other regulated businesses. I'm open to permanent, interim and fractional CTO, CIO and Chief AI Officer roles, and to technology operating partner and board work. Recruiters and sponsors can contact me through LinkedIn or book fifteen minutes on Calendly.
I'm usually brought in when technology has started to limit the business: a failing program, a client ready to leave, a platform nobody fully understands, or a cyber incident. My first job is to find out what is actually broken and who owns each decision, then set priorities the business can execute.
Generic fractional CTO pages sell a title. This page sells the operating work: turnarounds you can date, and agent controls you can try on Autonomy Ladder.
What sponsors say
No invented client quotes. When a sponsor allows a public line, it lands here. Until then, use the track record below or book fifteen minutes.
Live try-it
The sellable demo for the AI governance work is public: run the free A0 to A4 self-score on Autonomy Ladder. No account and no card. There is no Stripe checkout on this personal site.

BroadridgeWealth management platforms
At Broadridge, I led product development across a group of wealth management platforms. I reorganized engineering around business capabilities. Within six months, feature delivery improved by 40% and defects reaching the client fell by 30%.

Wipro OpusLending platform
At Wipro, I held a business development role before becoming CTO of Wipro Opus, a lending platform business that was losing money. We moved the platform to Azure, changed the operating model and built new loan processing, underwriting and document products. The unit grew to $40 million in revenue and became profitable without layoffs.

During that CTO role, a ransomware attack shut the operation down for 12 days with no usable disaster recovery environment. I led the rebuild. We delivered a working MVP in approximately 50 days against a six month plan and completed the Azure migration in 75 days.

CognizantFinancial services portfolio
Earlier, at Cognizant, I grew a financial services portfolio from $7 million to a $140 million P&L. My Cognizant tenure included JPMorgan Chase Partner of the Year recognition in 2007, 2009 and 2010, while I was serving as an account leader.

AI in the operating work
AI is now part of the same operating work. My work on Autonomy Ladder focuses on reference implementations of controls for AI agents in regulated businesses: what the system may do, how that limit is tested, and what happens when a control fails.
